We check out some of the amenities of the Cordis Hotel in Auckland New Zealand including a beautiful breakfast buffet which was the nicest breakfast buffet Ive ever had in a hotel Fresh Stewart Island Salmon a chocolate fondue station and fresh omelettes made to order Next was the Cordis rooftop pool which was beautiful It was more saltwater than chlorine which was nice for the skin and hair The jacuzzi was also very relaxing We booked through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts programme which is a benefit of having a platinum charge card This includes a 100USD room credit to be spent on anything in the hotel which for us was this beautiful art prints from their artist in residence Finally we walked down Queen Street in Auckland and checked out some of the cute little laneways along the way
